SVR is spreading lies about Ukraine allegedly preparing diversions in Europe
russian propaganda spreads yet another disinformation message from russian foreign intelligence service (svr), claiming that Ukraine, in collaboration with the United Kingdom, is allegedly preparing a “bloody provocation” in the Baltic Sea.
▫️svr claims that Ukrainians and Britons are planning to stage a torpedo attack on an American vessel to blame moscow for it. No evidence is provided to support the reality of such plans.
This information has nothing to do with reality. The spreading of baseless and false accusations about Ukraine preparing terrorist attacks and sabotage is a typical tactic of russian foreign intelligence service. The aim of such disinformation is to discredit Ukraine and attempt to create division between our country and its allies.
At the same time, it is russia that is behind a series of sabotage operations in EU and NATO countries to undermine military assistance to Ukraine from its allies.
