Fake about “AFU manual: shoot those who want to live”
Pro-kremlin channels and resources, citing russian special services, spread a fake that the so-called “AFU manuals” allegedly contain an order to “destroy” military personnel who try to leave positions or surrender, including “with their own UAVs.”
No evidence of the existence of such “manuals” has been provided. The reports are based on anonymous “sources” without documents, photos, or official confirmations.
▫️ The thesis about “shooting their own” is a mirror projection of practices inherent to the russian army, which pro-kremlin propaganda tries to attribute to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
This is a typical information-psychological operation aimed at demoralizing Ukrainian soldiers and intimidating civilians.
