russian ombudswoman launched fake about “stolen babies”

federal ombudswoman of russia, yana lantratova, at a legal forum in st. petersburg, told an absurd story in the style of the “crucified boy” to discredit Ukraine and the Ukrainian military.

She claimed that Ukrainian soldiers, during their retreat in Donbas, allegedly massively kidnapped babies from local residents, used them as a human shield against russian attacks, and then “threw them out on the street in baby carriages”.

There is absolutely nothing in this statement that could confirm its truth. The official does not provide any evidence or even details that could establish the time and place of these events. The main “argument” is the emotional statement “I saw it with my own eyes”, designed solely to provoke an emotional reaction from the audience.

According to international standards, the head of a state human rights institution should operate solely on the basis of verified facts, documented complaints, and legal norms. Instead, lantratova, hiding behind her official status as a human rights ombudswoman, is engaged in spreading propaganda and broadcasting kremlin narratives.
