How anti-Ukrainian disinformation is spread in Poland
The Center records the continuation of a disinformation campaign aimed at discrediting Ukrainians in Poland and provoking interethnic conflicts.
Through a number of outlets that regularly spread narratives echoing ru-propaganda, manipulative publications about Ukrainians are being pushed into the Polish information space.
In particular, narratives are being spread claiming that «Ukrainians are committing crimes against Poles en masse», «massively establishing a criminal drug production business», etc. Claims are also being pushed that there is a «Ukrainian fifth column destroying Poland from within». In addition, conspiracy theories are being spread claiming that Ukraine is contributing to the reduction of «Poland’s borders to those of the Duchy of Warsaw».
This campaign is aimed at inciting hatred of Ukrainians among Poles, provoking interethnic conflicts and undermining support for Ukraine.
