russian fake about «an announcement for Ukrainians in Germany»
Pro-russian Telegram channels have circulated a fake photo of an alleged announcement for Ukrainians from a Berlin employment centre (Jobcenter).
It says that from October 1, 2026, male visitors will be required to provide proof of being registered for military service in Ukraine, otherwise their social benefits will be discontinued.
In reality, the image is fake and was created using artificial intelligence. This was confirmed by checking the photo with specialised services.
German employment centres have not adopted any such decisions or requirements to check Ukrainian citizens liable for military service.
The enemy’s goal is to provoke fear among Ukrainian refugees in European countries and discredit European partners’ support for Ukraine.
