Fake claim about AFU attacks on civilians during evacuation from Kostiantynivka
russian propaganda continues its disinformation campaign about alleged “AFU atrocities,” seeking to discredit Ukraine’s Defense Forces and artificially create the image of “russians as rescuers.”
▫️ Enemy resources are actively spreading a manipulative report featuring the so-called testimony of an eyewitness who claims that a Ukrainian fiber-optic drone “attacked a group of civilians while they were leaving the city.”
▫️ The report bears all the hallmarks of a staged production filmed under psychological pressure in territory controlled by the occupiers to promote the myth of “russians as rescuers.” No additional evidence has been provided to support these claims.
▫️ This fabrication is intended to shift responsibility for the occupiers’ war crimes onto the AFU. In reality, it is the russian army that destroys Kostiantynivka on a daily basis, deliberately targeting evacuation routes and emergency responders.
Through such accusations, the kremlin seeks to demonize the AFU, intimidate residents of frontline areas, and justify its brutal aggression against Ukraine.
