Fake appeal to Volodymyr Zelenskyy from 200 French companies
Fake video in the name of Euronews about “an appeal by 200 French companies” to Volodymyr Zelenskyу
Hostile TG channels are spreading a video allegedly from Euronews, claiming that directors of over 200 French companies signed an open letter to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, demanding a peace agreement with russia because the war “negatively affects business.”
In reality, no such video exists on Euronews’ official platforms. Accordingly, the information presented in it is also fabricated. This is a fake video created by russian propagandists.
Using logos of reputable media is a typical tactic of russian propaganda to give their fakes more credibility.
The campaign’s goal is to create the impression of pressure on Ukraine from Western businesses and to sow doubts about the appropriateness of supporting Ukraine among its partners.
