CCD and Defence Intelligence of Ukraine continue to identify kremlin mouthpieces
The Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, continues its systematic efforts to expose individuals engaged in the kremlin’s war propaganda.
▫️ The “kremlin Mouthpieces” section of the War&Sanctions portal has been updated with information on five more russian public figures who serve the putin regime in the information domain, justify the war against Ukraine, the occupation of Ukrainian territories, and war crimes committed by the russian army.
Newly added to the list are, among others:
▫️ reznik ilya rakhmielovich / israelson ilya leopoldovich — soviet and russian songwriter and poet, author of the lyrics of the so-called “new anthem of Crimea”;
▫️ yakubovich leonid arkadyevich — television host, member of the united russia party;
▫️ rozhkov andrey borisovich — screenwriter and television host, director of the creative association “ural pelmeni,” member of the “putin team” movement and a trusted representative of putin during the 2018 presidential election, among others.
Currently, the “kremlin Mouthpieces” section of the War&Sanctions portal contains information on 166 individuals.
Work on updating the list of “kremlin Mouthpieces” is ongoing. We call for strengthening sanctions against russian propagandists and preventing any form of cooperation with them.
