CCD and DIU expand the “kremlin Mouthpieces” section
The Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, systematically exposes public figures who promote propaganda in the interests of the Kremlin.
▫️ The “kremlin Mouthpieces” section of the War&Sanctions portal has been updated with data on five more russian propagandists who conduct disinformation campaigns, justify aggression against Ukraine and the occupation of Ukrainian territories, glorify russian war criminals, and more.
Among the newly added individuals:
▫️ vladimir agranovich — a russian war correspondent and director who received state grants to produce propaganda content about Donbas and was awarded for cultural activities in the “new territories”;
▫️ sergey kolesnikov — a blogger and propagandist, member of the bloggers’ council under the state duma of the russian federation, and a speaker for a number of russian propaganda outlets;
▫️ stalina gurevich — a public figure and lawyer, an expert at the “Monitoring Center for Detecting Dangerous and Prohibited Content,” who has actively participated in disinformation campaigns aimed at discrediting Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
At present, the “kremlin Mouthpieces” section of the War&Sanctions portal contains information on 181 individuals.
Work on updating the “kremlin Mouthpieces” list is ongoing. We call for stronger sanctions against russian propagandists and for preventing any cooperation with them.
