Azerbaijan puts three ru-propagandists on wanted list
In Azerbaijan, three russian propagandists have been placed on an international wanted list for calls to terrorism.
The Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan has brought charges against «moscow 24» TV presenter ivan knyazev, political consultant semen uralov, and adviser to the russian transport minister alexey chadayev. According to the investigation, they publicly called for violent actions against Azerbaijan, changes to the country’s constitutional order and violations of its territorial integrity, as well as incited interethnic hatred.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated against them, and the court ordered their detention as a preventive measure. Since all three are outside Azerbaijan, they were placed on a wanted list and an international search was initiated through Interpol channels.
This case demonstrates that russian propaganda is increasingly being viewed as a threat to national security. kremlin propagandists’ broadcasts have long become a full-fledged tool of hybrid warfare, requiring a systematic response from other states — from blocking russian resources to criminal prosecution of those who turn words into weapons.
