russia’s propaganda continues its disinformation campaign about «Ukrainian Armed Forces atrocities against civilians in Donbas».
russia-controlled resources are spreading another fabrication disguised as «accounts from Kramatorsk residents to a russian journalist». They claim that Ukrainian military personnel are allegedly «using civilians as cover» in the city, while those attempting to evacuate to Kharkiv or Dnipro are allegedly «shot on the road in order to rob them of their last valuables».
The propagandists provide no evidence whatsoever to support these primitive fabrications, relying exclusively on accounts from «locals».
The aim of spreading such disinformation is not only to discredit Ukrainian military personnel, but also to intimidate the population of Ukrainian frontline cities. Through such «horror stories», ru-propaganda is trying to discourage Ukrainians from evacuating from combat zones and instead make them «wait» for russian troops, putting people at deadly risk.
