At the invitation of the Singapore Centre of Excellence for National Security representatives of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine took part in a conference and panel discussion, as well as in a number of working meetings with representatives of the National Security Coordination Secretariat, the Ministry of Defense and the Singapore Police. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Singapore Ms. Kateryna Zelenko joined the meetings.
During the events, the participants discussed alternative spaces in information operations, regulatory platforms, strategic communications and media channels, identity and threats on the Internet, etc., and also exchanged experiences regarding information challenges to national security.
During the visit, they agreed to strengthen cooperation in countering disinformation. Such interaction confirms the undeniable support of Ukraine and the development of friendly relations between our countries.
