putin once again proves that he wants nothing but war
russian dictator vladimir putin has issued another round of threats against democratic countries, once again making it clear that he has no intention of ending the war and is instead betting on escalation.
▫️ Speaking at exercises involving russia’s pacific fleet, putin claimed that NATO is allegedly “infiltrating the Pacific region,” posing a threat to russia. He also hinted at aggressive actions against Japan and stated that russia would seize EU commercial vessels around the world in response to the detention of “shadow fleet” vessels used by russia to circumvent sanctions.
This latest series of direct and indirect threats from putin once again proves that, despite the losses caused by the war and sanctions, the russian dictator’s only goals are to continue the war, intimidate the world, and escalate the conflict.
The only effective response to putin’s policy is to increase pressure on russia, including through sanctions, in order to deprive the dictator of the ability to continue the war.
