Andriy Kovalenko, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, and Deputy Head Anait Khoperia held a working meeting with David Dinsmore, Permanent Secretary Director of Communications for the UK Government.

Mr Dinsmore is responsible for coordinating the Government Communication Service and works directly with the Prime Minister’s Office and the UK Cabinet. His visit to Kyiv underscores the high level of interest from the British side in deepening cooperation with Ukraine on the information front.

The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the further development of the bilateral partnership. In particular, during the meeting, the parties focused on the practical implementation of the 100-Year Partnership Agreement between Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The participants also discussed consolidating joint efforts in countering foreign information manipulation and interference, as well as exchanging best practice in government communications to enhance the information security of both nations.
