ru-propaganda is disseminating another statement by russian ombudswoman tatiana moskalkova, alleging “executions of civilians in the kursk region by Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel.”
▫️ moskalkova claims that these executions are “confirmed by eyewitness accounts.” At the same time, she provides no information on whether such cases have been verified by independent investigations or even by investigations controlled by the kremlin. Thus, this is yet another propaganda statement without any evidence.
▫️ Such information injections about alleged “atrocities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces” continue a long-standing propaganda tactic of russia: through emotional, unsubstantiated accusations, representatives of the aggressor state attempt to shape a negative image of Ukrainians for both domestic audiences and international influence.
The purpose of these statements is to discredit Ukraine’s Defense Forces, create an informational justification for russia’s own actions, and shift attention away from the war crimes systematically committed by russian troops in the occupied territories.
