▫️ Pro-kremlin media are actively spreading an interview with russian deputy foreign minister alexander grushko, who claims that “NATO is practicing a scenario of blocking the kaliningrad region during military exercises” while “building up forces and assets in the area.”
This is a typical kremlin manipulation: defensive measures taken by NATO countries in response to repeated russian provocations involving drones and moscow’s threats to use force against the Baltic states, Poland, Finland, and other Alliance members are being falsely presented as preparations for an attack on russia.
By spreading such narratives, the kremlin seeks to justify russia’s aggressive policies, create the illusion of a “Western threat,” and instill a “fortress under siege” mindset among russians. The real goal of this propaganda is to further militarize russia and justify a potential war against NATO countries.
