Head of the CCD held a meeting with representatives of Google LLC
The meeting was attended by Marta Poslad, Director of Government Relations and Public Policy, CEE & Transatlantic, and Anna Bulakh, Director of Government Relations, Google Ukraine.
Andriy Kovalenko, Head of the CCD, officer of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, thanked Google representatives for their cooperation with the CCD in raising the level of media education; identifying and blocking hostile YouTube channels funded by russia that spread disinformation in Ukraine and abroad; supporting fact-checking organizations in Ukraine, etc. The parties agreed to further expand cooperation.
According to A. Kovalenko, “we were talking about propaganda and propagandists on YouTube”. “There will soon be significant changes and acceleration of counteraction, which many propagandists may not like”, he said.
