Amid recent massive russian shelling of Ukrainian cities, the spread of AI-generated images has intensified on social media, created to provoke strong emotional reactions and encourage people to interact with the posts.
The Center reminds that such posts exploit sensitive societal issues and attempt to take advantage of people’s vulnerable state to profit.
▫️Through such messages, malefactors can collect personal data, lure people into destructive sects, accelerate the promotion of pages spreading hostile narratives or fraudulent schemes.
