Fake CNN article about alleged Starlink disruptions on the frontline
Enemy Telegram channels are spreading a fake CNN article about alleged regular disruptions in Starlink operations on the frontline following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to the U.S.
After analyzing CNN’s official resources, the Center has determined that no such article exists. The image is a forgery created to spread disinformation.
The goal of this fabrication is to incite panic within Ukrainian society and demoralize the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
▫️ Previously, the Center debunked another fake video, also allegedly from CNN, claiming that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio planned to meet with Elon Musk in the coming days to persuade him to disable Starlink in Ukraine.
