Fake about the alleged untimely evacuation of residents of the Zaporizhzhia region
russian propaganda is once again attempting to discredit the Ukrainian government and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This time, kremlin media are spreading a fake story alleging that the mayor of Kurakhove paid foreign mercenaries to shell civilians in order to blame Russia for the attacks.
▫️In the propaganda video, so-called “local residents” claim the city was deliberately targeted and that the mayor allegedly called in journalists to document the aftermath. However, no evidence is provided to support these claims—only staged footage without verified facts, as usual.
▫️Such fabrications are a typical tool of russia’s information warfare. kremlin systematically uses fake confessions, fabricated revelations, and staged testimonies to shift blame for its own crimes onto Ukraine, cover up military defeats, and justify attacks on civilian infrastructure.
