russian propaganda has ramped up spreading manipulations claiming the Moldovan authorities are allegedly “glorifying Nazis” and “rewriting history.” Supposedly, this is being done at the behest of the EU to drag Moldova into confrontation with russia.
This reaction by russian propagandists was triggered, among other things, by a Moldovan history textbook that refers to the Soviet period of the country’s existence as an occupation.
