Why Russia invents fakes about “Ukraine trafficking children”
Russian propaganda continues to spread fakes about “Ukraine allegedly trafficking children from Donbas”.
To promote such absurdities, Russian propagandists use a former SBU officer who betrayed Ukraine and the so-called children’s ombudsman of the “DPR.” These sources allege that Ukraine is taking children from families in Donbas and “selling them abroad, to pedophiles and for organs”.
The primary goal of these blatant fakes is to distract from the numerous crimes committed by Russians against Ukrainian children—crimes for which the International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and other Russian officials.
