russia has revived old fake about “strike of Polish border guards”
russia has intensified a long-standing disinformation campaign, in which a video is being spread showing shields with inscriptions about the “genocide of Poles”, supposedly set up by Polish border guards on the border with Ukraine.
This fake has not been spread for the first time. The Center has refuted this disinformation before. In fact, no such actions took place on the Polish-Ukrainian border. russian propaganda has once again deliberately distorted the context and lied about the location of the event.
The enemy’s goal is to sow hostility and mistrust between Ukrainians and Poles.
russia systematically conducts information operations, trying to pit Ukraine against its closest neighbors, in order to weaken Ukraine’s support in the international arena.
