russia continues to cynically attack Ukrainian cities, despite claims of “readiness for peace”
As a result of a massive overnight attack on Kyiv, two people were killed and 16 injured. Residential buildings were damaged, and a medical clinic was almost completely destroyed. Large-scale fires broke out in the capital, and emergency services are working to eliminate the consequences of the enemy strike.
Despite the evident terror against civilians, russia attempts to justify its shelling. As usual, propagandists claim that civilians in Kyiv were harmed “because of Ukrainian air defense.” After the attack, russian propaganda tries to shift responsibility for the consequences onto Ukraine, alleging that Kyiv “does not want peace” because it refuses to sign moscow’s proposed “peace memorandum,” which in reality amounts to Ukraine’s capitulation.
By continuing terrorist attacks on Ukrainian cities, kremlin once again shows it has no intention of ending the war. The world must not turn a blind eye to these russian crimes. Pressure on the putin regime must only increase to force russia to peace.
