RSI service spreads disinformation about Ukraine’s preparation of terrorist attacks in the EU to “disrupt peace talks”

Russia’s foreign intelligence service is spreading yet another obvious disinformation about Ukraine’s alleged preparation of terrorist attacks in the EU to “disrupt peace talks.” In fact, it is Russia that may be preparing the attacks.

This disinformation is part of the Kremlin’s information operation codenamed “Ukraine does not want peace.” Its implementation is led by Sergey Naryshkin, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry and a longtime friend of Putin.

According to Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation and an officer of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, Naryshkin has already failed cable sabotage against NATO countries, making Russia look like the culprit, and then began to say that Ukraine is preparing terrorist attacks against ships.

According to Andriy Kovalenko, in fact, it was Russia that carried out a series of sabotage and arson attacks in the EU and NATO countries, and tried to kill the CEO of Rheinmetall, as reported by the Alliance.

“Now Naryshkin is preparing possible sabotage to blame Ukraine. But he is so inept that it is immediately clear from the available information that it will be Russia that will do it. And this is all part of a campaign to accuse Ukraine of “disrupting the peace” that Russia itself does not want,” summarized Kovalenko.
