Kremlin uses Russian Ombudsman to lie about Ukrainian military
Russian officials have joined the Kremlin’s disinformation campaign alleging “atrocities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region.”
▫️ Propaganda outlets are widely sharing a statement from Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova, who repeats earlier fakes about civilians allegedly found tortured in the Kursk region. However, no evidence has been provided to support these allegations.
Spreading such disinformation is a typical Kremlin tactic aimed at fueling hatred against Ukrainians and diverting global attention from the crimes committed by the Russian army.
