How Kremlin uses intelligence services to intimidate the world
The Kremlin has used the “meeting of the heads of delegations of security and special services of the CIS countries” as yet another propaganda platform to intimidate the world.
Propaganda outlets are actively amplifying statements from the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, the Federal Security Service chief, Alexander Bortnikov, and former President Dmitry Medvedev. These statements revolve around repeated threats of a nuclear strike, absurd accusations against Ukraine and the so-called Anglo-Saxons of allegedly planning “nuclear terrorism,” and the Kremlin’s claims to hegemony in the “post-Soviet space.”
This is yet another clear indication that all the efforts of Russian special services are focused on spreading fear.
