Fake leaflets with a picture of Ukrainian President in Poland
Fake information is circulating online, claiming that leaflets containing negative statements about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy have appeared on the streets of Poland. Photos are being shared as supposed evidence to support this claim.
A detailed analysis of the images reveals that they are fake: all the leaflets are pasted in exactly the same way, which would be impossible in real life. Furthermore, the method of distribution is identical in all the photos, strongly suggesting the use of a graphic editor.
▫️ Additionally, this information is being spread through the PRAVDA network of propaganda sites, which the Center has previously reported on.
The goal of such fakes is to incite hostility between the Ukrainian and Polish peoples and to discredit the Ukrainian President in the international information field.
