CCD and DIU have expanded the “kremlin Mouthpieces” section
The Center for Countering Disinformation of the NSDC of Ukraine, together with the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, continue to expose individuals working for russian propaganda and providing information support for the war against Ukraine.
The “kremlin Mouthpieces” section of the War&Sanctions portal has been updated with information on ten additional russian propagandists — war correspondents, bloggers, journalists, and media managers who spread anti-Ukrainian narratives, manipulate information, and justify russia’s aggression.
The newly added individuals include:
▫️ ilya tumanov — author of the Telegram channel “fighterbomber,” who supports tussia’s armed aggression against Ukraine and assists tussian military forces;
▫️ viktor shvykov — author of the Telegram channel “reverse side of the medal” (rsotm), linked to pro-wagner information networks, promoting the wagner PMC and spreading anti-Ukrainian propaganda;
▫️ anastasia kashevarova — russian media manager and author of a propaganda Telegram channel, co-host of the show “podrugi zet,” actively involved in supporting russian military forces and information coverage of the war;
▫️ ekaterina agranovich — russian journalist and media specialist involved in information campaigns supporting the occupation regime and promoting the ideology of the “russian world.”
▫️ The “kremlin mouthpieces” section of the War&Sanctions portal now contains information on 191 representatives of russian propaganda.
Efforts to expose the russian propaganda network continue. We call on the international community to increase sanctions pressure on individuals involved in supporting russia’s aggression against Ukraine through information activities.
