The Centre is recording an intensification of an enemy information operation targeting an international audience, with accusations against Ukraine of allegedly «supplying weapons to terrorists».
Pro-russian segments of foreign media have been spreading disinformation claiming that weapons provided to Ukraine by Western countries are allegedly being «redirected to terrorists, insurgents and drug cartels». The aim is to undermine the provision of aid to Ukraine.
Claims about «Ukraine selling Western weapons on the black market», which propagandists periodically revive and inject into the information space, have nothing to do with reality, as they contain no evidence.
There are also no confirmed facts of Ukrainian state bodies being involved in the organised supply of Western weapons to foreign criminal or terrorist organisations.
russia is deliberately launching this disinformation campaign through its pro-russian foreign media, seeking to impose a distorted reality and sow doubts in Western societies about the advisability of continued support for Ukraine.
