Estonia suspects russia of arson at a military facility
Estonian authorities are investigating russia’s possible involvement in a fire at a plant producing military robots for Milrem Robotics. This was reported by Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal.
▫️The company works closely with Ukraine, supplying robotic systems. The alleged arson may have been intended to intimidate Estonia and pressure it into ending its support for Ukraine.
▫️Recently, authorities in several European countries have reported russia’s suspected involvement in suspicious incidents across the EU, including unauthorized drone flights, attempted assassinations and acts of sabotage.
The Center recently published an infographic showing how russia’s hybrid aggression in Western countries has escalated.
Countering these threats requires a coordinated response, stronger protection of critical infrastructure and the exposure of sabotage networks.
