Imitation of constructivism: kremlin is putting pressure on European diplomats

russia continues to pressure Ukraine’s partners instead of taking real steps towards a ceasefire and peaceful resolution of the war it started.

On June 11, russian deputy foreign minister mikhail galuzin, who recently openly threatened European countries with nuclear weapons, held a meeting with the ambassadors of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.

russian diplomatic service tried to present this event as a platform for “seeking political-diplomatic settlement.” In reality, it was about broadcasting kremlin ultimatums, accusing the West, and attempting to shift responsibility for continuing the war onto Ukraine’s allies.

kremlin arranges such meetings solely for propaganda: to create the illusion of its “constructive position” on the international stage. In fact, moscow once again uses diplomatic platforms as a podium for intimidation, confirming its complete unwillingness to pursue diplomacy to achieve peace.
