CCD and Defence Intelligence of Ukraine expand the “kremlin Mouthpieces” section
The Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, together with the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, continues its systematic work to expose public figures who serve the kremlin’s war propaganda.
▫️ The “kremlin mouthpieces” section of the War & Sanctions portal has been updated with data on 11 additional russian public figures — actors, singers, artists, producers, and composers who openly support the putin regime, the war against Ukraine, and the occupation of Ukrainian territories.
Among the newly listed individuals are:
▫️ sergey bezrukov — a russian actor and producer involved in so-called “agitbrigades” and participating in performances in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine aimed at providing moral support to russian troops;
▫️ viktoriya tsyganova — a singer and composer, author and performer of songs that glorify the wagner PMC and specific operations of the russian army in the war against Ukraine;
▫️ yekaterina mizulina — a member of the public chamber of the russian federation and head of the “Safe Internet League,” who publicly advocates censorship and restrictions on freedom of speech and systematically promotes kremlin disinformation narratives about the war.
The “kremlin mouthpieces” section of the War & Sanctions portal currently contains information on 161 individuals involved in justifying russia’s armed aggression and war crimes, spreading war propaganda, and influencing public opinion outside russia.
Work on updating the list of “kremlin mouthpieces” continues. We call for strengthening sanctions against russian propagandists and preventing any form of cooperation with them.
