ru-propaganda is massively spreading AI-generated fakes about Kupians
As stated by the Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, officer of the Defense Forces of Ukraine Andrii Kovalenko, “putin’s propagandists have been tasked with lying at all costs, spreading claims that ‘Zelenskyy was not in Kupiansk’ and that the city is ‘under russian control’”.
To do this, they are producing fake videos using artificial intelligence, sometimes not even removing the watermarks of the platforms used to generate this content.
“This is a battle for the Western information space. russia has no strategic victories, but it lies to Americans, claiming that it does”, the Head of the Center emphasized.
▫️ President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the city on December 12 and the Defense Forces of Ukraine currently control more than 90% of Kupiansk and continue eliminating russian forces still present there.
