Fake about “Ukrainian drones spreading rat poison”
russian propaganda is spreading yet another fake about the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
▫️ The so-called “military expert” andrey marochko claimed that Ukrainian troops supposedly used toxic substances against civilians in Pokrovsk. According to him, Ukrainian drones “sprayed a substance used to fight rodents,” allegedly causing civilian deaths.
This is manipulation and lies aimed at discrediting Ukrainian forces in the eyes of residents of frontline areas and creating an atmosphere of fear. Ukraine is a signatory to the Chemical Weapons Convention and strictly adheres to its international obligations. The russian side has provided no evidence to support such claims.
In reality, it is the russian army that systematically violates international law by using prohibited chemical substances on the battlefield. These incidents have been repeatedly documented by Ukrainian units, and Kyiv regularly informs the international community about them.
