The Center held a working meeting with an Australian military expert, Major General Mick Ryan
The Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Officer of the Defence Forces of Ukraine Andrii Kovalenko, met with Australian military expert retired Major General Mick Ryan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key aspects of strategic communications and disinformation in the context of russia’s war against Ukraine. In particular, they reviewed the Center’s strategic observations on disinformation and communications over the past year, as well as the impact of russian disinformation on discussions regarding support for Ukraine in the United States and Europe. They also explored the influence of emerging technologies on strategic communications and information security.
Additionally, they addressed the need to transition towards collective information offensive operations against countries engaged in information warfare against the West and Europe.
A. Kovalenko expressed his gratitude to Australia for supporting Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
