The Center participated in the training of SBU employees on strategic communications
The advanced training course, “Strategic Communications in the Context of (Hybrid) War,” focused on communication technologies for building societal resilience in the context of war, detecting hostile propaganda, and proactively responding to it, as well as myth design in the system of content analysis and creation.
Alina Yurii, Senior Analyst at the Department of Countering Information Threats to National Security at the Center for Countering Disinformation, delivered a lecture on “Strategic Communications in Times of War.”
The course participants also attended lectures on myths and narratives of modern warfare; problematic tasks of the strategic communications system; strategic communications as the basis of national resilience in the context of Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine; challenges in implementing state information policy; peculiarities of countering Russian disinformation influence; OSINT as a tool for analyzing media campaigns of Russian aggression; psychological burnout in Ukrainian society; NATO’s strategy on warfare imperatives and Ukraine’s gender experience in its implementation; communication of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
