The Center participated in the preparation of an online educational course
As part of the educational initiative of the High School of Public Administration, the Center for Countering Disinformation contributed to the preparation of an online educational course, “Organization of Work in the Territories of Military Operations,” for individuals enrolled in the reserve of state body employees to work in the de-occupied territories of Ukraine. The primary goal of the course is to develop practice-oriented skills, facilitate the reintegration of liberated territories, and promote Ukraine’s sustainable development.
During the course development, Vasyl Slychko, Senior Analyst at the Department of Countering Information Threats to National Security at the Center for Countering Disinformation, outlined basic scenarios for responding to information threats, including fake news, manipulations, bot activity, or fictitious websites. He emphasized that response tools should align with the organization’s specific characteristics and the potential impact level of the threat.
The Center’s senior analyst detailed the algorithm of actions for an authority, organization, or institution when detecting an information threat. This algorithm includes assessment, informing, defending, and protecting.
As a result of the course, students will acquire practical skills and fundamental tools to counter destructive information influences, such as propaganda and disinformation.
