Russian media: US pressure is a desire for war with russia

On February 10, which coincided with the start of the russian-Belarusian exercise “Allied Resolve 2022,” russia was supposed to invade Ukraine.

Then Bloomberg reported, citing sources among U.S. officials, that russia’s new aggression against Ukraine could begin on February 15-16.

Russian media and pro-russian resources in Ukraine actively spread the narrative that the general panic and escalation of the situation was a special operation by the United States, which allegedly had long wanted an open war with russia and had finally found the territory and hands to deal with it.

According to some Ukrainian analysts, the goal of this special operation is to push russian president vladimir putin out of Europe and make it impossible to create a single Eurasian space “from Vladivostok to Lisbon.”

The objectives of this special operation are:

1. Mobilization of NATO countries and restoration of the unity of the Alliance and the West as a whole.

2. Demoralization of the russian military and political elites through public exposure of their secret plans.

When we hear about an imminent invasion, we must clearly understand that this is not a provocation, manipulation, or intimidation, but rather an exposure of possible plans and the prevention of their implementation.

The United States wants to force putin to stop playing hybrid wars and make the final choice: either to dare a large-scale invasion or to finally retreat and lock down inside his own country.

At the same time, Washington and London are taking every measure to make a possible invasion an economic and military disaster for russia, and to make putin’s choice obvious.

Of course, like every special operation, this one also carries risks.

For Ukraine, these are significant economic losses due to the outflow of investors and panic.

At the same time, these losses are much smaller than those we could suffer in the event of a large-scale military invasion. And we can reduce these losses ourselves by stopping panicking.

There is no need to panic even if putin tries to escape the American trap and still orders an invasion.

The Ukrainian army is ready to give the russians a decisive pushback, and the sanctions response from the West will quickly destroy the russian economy.
