Fake advertisement allegedly from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is spreading online

🔻 Specialists of the Center discovered a disinformation campaign that was spreading on Twitter, about an alleged advertisement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in the New York subway. The fake ad is promoting all locals who don’t have a job to join the International Legion

🔻 In particular, the poster states: «Tired of living on social benefits? Join the International Legion for the Defense of Ukraine»

‼️ Warning

Based on the collected analytical data, specialists of the Center for Countering Disinformation found out that such advertisements were not placed in the New York subway. In addition, the posters in the subway there have a completely different framing

☝️ Such materials are distributed with the aim of discrediting the Ukrainian army and the government of Ukraine. Therefore, be vigilant and trust only sources of verified information
