russian occupiers in Kherson region are seizing the property of local businessmen, disguising the robbery of Ukrainians as a “fight against oligarchs”.
russian propaganda is actively spreading the statement of the gauleiter vladimir saldo, who boasts that “the property of Ukrainian oligarchs has passed into the ownership of russia” and will now, supposedly, “serve the people”.
In fact, this is a simple robbery of the assets of Ukrainian entrepreneurs, including a large number of farmers. Under the guise of “nationalization”, the property of Ukrainian entrepreneurs is illegally confiscated in order to then redistribute it among russian businessmen loyal to the putin regime.
This is a typical policy of russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories, the aim of which is to replace local business owners with russians in order to exploit the seized resources and create loyal local elites. The occupiers only cover up these criminal actions with communist myths about “expropriating capital for the benefit of the people”.
