Ru-propaganda is producing new fake stories about “atrocities by the AFU”
russian propaganda continues to produce numerous fakes about “atrocities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbas.”
▫️There is ongoing dissemination of typical claims alleging that Ukrainian soldiers receive orders from their command to execute civilians in Pokrovsk. For this, videos are used that allegedly show “confessions” of Ukrainian prisoners of war. However, there is no real evidence whatsoever.
▫️In addition, to spread disinformation about Ukraine’s Defense Forces, the enemy actively uses civilians who ended up in the occupied territory and who are filmed voicing narratives beneficial to russia. Such videos are widely circulated even when they are blatantly absurd, such as claims that “Ukrainian fighters were looting the very Pokrovsk they were shelling.”
The spread of such deceitful videos is part of the kremlin’s information warfare and an attempt to discredit Ukraine’s Defense Forces and justify russia’s war crimes.
