russian outlets are actively circulating a new video in which a resident of belgorod region claims that Ukrainian drones are “terrorizing the civilian population of a russian region.”
In particular, the woman alleges that a Ukrainian drone supposedly “taunted a grandmother with a goat.” As always, the video provides no evidence of “Ukrainian drone attacks on civilians.” Moreover, the woman does not even claim to have witnessed the events herself.
The dissemination of such unverified videos, in which people often repeat unsubstantiated rumors, is a typical russian tactic. The goal is to discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine, justify the continuation of the war, and divert attention from proven russian war crimes in Ukraine.
