Residents of occupied Mariupol complain about water quality in the city

Not only is water supplied in Mariupol according to a strict schedule, but during the hours when it is actually available, the quality is so poor that it is often unsuitable even for household use.

This reality stands in stark contrast to the statements made by russian propaganda, which continues to blatantly lie to people about the supposed large-scale reconstruction of Mariupol and the alleged flourishing of the city under russian control. In reality, however, the occupiers have failed to solve even the basic issue of water supply for the population in three years. Moreover, the scale of water-related problems is only growing.

The Kamianske Reservoir, which is the main water source for Mariupol, continues to dry up — this poses a risk that the city could be left without any water at all. Yet the occupiers ignore these issues, as their primary concern remains the military exploitation of the occupied territories of Ukraine.
