Pro-russian Telegram channels are spreading fake photos of leaflets with propaganda slogans and occupiers’ symbols, allegedly posted around Kyiv.
Kyiv police investigated the information and found no such leaflets. All the images were created using photo editing.
The goal of this fake is to undermine trust in state institutions, create the illusion of support for the “russian world” in Ukraine, and provoke social tension ahead of May 9—a symbolic date for russia.
