Fake about the existence of barrier troops in Ukraine’s Defense Forces
ru-propaganda continues to spread disinformation about the alleged existence of barrier troops within Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
Reports claim that one of these supposed units “opened fire on its own soldiers who tried to retreat from their positions in the Kharkiv region.”
This fake has no confirmation whatsoever and is yet another lie of kremlin propaganda.
Earlier, the enemy actively spread similar fakes about “barrier troops in the Sumy region.” The goal of such disinformation is to discredit Ukraine’s Defense Forces, sow distrust in Ukrainian society toward its defenders, and divert attention from the fact that barrier troops are actually used by the russian army.
