Claims of an alleged russian sea drone attack on Odesa are fake
reports claiming that Odesa was “bombarded by russian sea drones” are false.
Information has been circulating online, in some media outlets, and on russian propaganda platforms alleging that Odesa was attacked by russian maritime drones.
The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have officially refuted these claims. In reality, on the evening of June 17, Ukrainian Navy units were conducting planned training activities to prepare for repelling potential enemy strikes. These activities were aimed solely at enhancing combat readiness and practicing responses to potential threats posed by russia’s black sea fleet.
It is important to note that the threat from the enemy in the Black Sea remains constant. The Ukrainian Navy continues its work to ensure security and maintain readiness to respond to any challenges.
