AI video on TikTok to discredit the mobilisation process and Ukraine

A series of videos created using artificial intelligence is spreading on TikTok by russians with the aim of discrediting Ukraine and the mobilization process.

In the videos, supposedly the same man appears in the roles of a soldier, police officer, deputy, journalist, or Territorial Recruitment Center employee, allegedly calling everyone to go to the front, although he himself does not fight.

Also actively spreading are videos created with AI in which babies supposedly voice theses about “leaving the country,” “updating personal data at the Territorial Recruitment Center and Military Commissariat,” and so on.

The videos are styled humorously and entertainingly, but they play on sensitive topics related to mobilization and Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Such content, even if presented as a joke, often contains hidden messages. In particular, justifying avoidance of mobilization and presenting the idea of leaving the country as a “necessary” step.

The goal of such content is to distort the perception of important social topics, provoke distrust in official structures, and indifference to citizens’ responsibility.

▫️Systematic dissemination of such videos discredits the mobilization process and the state, and can also be used in external information campaigns against Ukraine.

▫️ It is important to critically approach such content and remember that even humor can be a tool to influence public opinion.
