◽️ This event is presented as a “showcase of the richness and diversity of russian culture abroad”, with a particular focus on supporting the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. The “Days of spiritual culture” will feature church choir concerts, Orthodox-themed exhibitions, and more.
◽️ In reality, russian cultural initiatives in Africa serve as a cover for spreading russian propaganda on the continent. Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, russia has intensified its influence in Africa.
Under the guise of cultural and mutually beneficial economic cooperation, the kremlin is promoting anti-Western propaganda among Africans and seeking to expand its influence on the continent.
