How kremlin spreads its propaganda in Poland: anti-Ukrainian pages on Facebook
Facebook has about 20 million users in Poland and is one of the country’s main platforms for spreading narratives favourable to russia.
❗️The Center has identified a number of Facebook pages that contain fakes, disinformation and manipulations, various conspiracy theories that discredit Ukraine and Ukrainians and cultivate hatred of Ukrainians among Poles. The biggest ones are: Ukrainiec nie jest moim bratem, Marsz Niepodległości, Wrealu24, etc.
The main narratives promoted through these communities are:
◽️Ukrainians are eternal enemies of Poles;
◽️Ukrainian refugees behave in Poland as occupiers, Poland becomes a colony of Ukraine;
◽️Poles are becoming «second-class citizens» in their own country;
◽️«Ukrainisation» and «Banderisation» of Poland is taking place;
◽️Poland should stop providing military assistance to Ukraine;
◽️the economic crisis in Poland is growing because of the assistance to Ukraine;
◽️assistance to Ukraine could drag Poland into a war.
